This was exactly what we needed! Keep in mind that you will have to glue the cover back on the motor (you have to pry it off to replace gear). I used a piece of metal that I drilled holes on each side to match the bolts that hold the motor in place and used it as a brace against the cover. Works like brand new!
If your gear needs to be replaced I highly recommend purchasing this one. The price is wonderful compared to replacing the entire motor.
