Chris Cuomo is a theorist, activist, and artist, Professor of Philosophy and Women's Studies, and Director of the Institute for Women's Studies at the Univerity of Georgia. Her work is in ethics and political theory, feminist philosophy, environmental philosophy, and science studies, and performance.

Cuomo's books and edited volumes include The Feminist Philosophy Reader, The Philosopher Queen: Feminist Essays on War, Love and Knowledge, Feminism & Ecological Communities: An Ethic of Flourishing, Whiteness: Feminist Philosophical Reflections, and a Special Issue of Ethics and the Environment on Art.
